A parent toddler group for pre-schoolers every Wednesday morning in term time from 10-11.30am, in TERM TIME, in the Extension at the back of church. A great place to meet other parents/carers and their toddlers. Have fun together, make new friends. Open play, craft activities, drinks and fruit, finishing with singing. These reflections will be drawn from the experience of the Desert Fathers and Mothers, who in response to the challenges of the age, and modelling Jesus, entered the wilderness...For us, the next forty days of Lent are a time to enter the wilderness of Christ, to push into prayer and deepen our spiritual formation.

Join us in the Rectory at 2.30pm-3.30pm on Thursday afternoons (19th February 2026 to 2nd April inclusive).

A lovely way to celebrate Mothering Sunday.

Vine Close, Hanwood

This is a special joining together of our Messy Church families with our Sunday Congregations on Palm Sunday. It will include a procession from the car park, craft activities suitable for all ages, songs, story and a special Holy Communion service. Followed by a meal. Join others from across the Benefice in worshipping God.

Good Friday drop in. A time to engage with activities around the death of Jesus Christ and its relevance and significance for us today.
Choir and Poems, followed by hot cross buns.

A great place and time to meet with the risen Lord Jesus Christ as we celebrate the memory of his Resurrection. Wear warm clothing - bacon butties afterwards!

Common Worship Holy Communion - come and celebrate with us the wonder and mystery of Jesus Christ rising from the dead.

A time to be still in God’s presence. A variety of Christian reflective meditations.

This service is once a month on 2nd Sunday alternating between Longden Church and St George’s Church, Pontesbury.
