Church of England Diocese of Hereford St. Peter with St. Owen and St. James, Hereford

About Us

We are an Evangelical Anglican parish in the City of Hereford seeking to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

In particular we are:

people with a passion for Jesus; people who explore the Bible to live its truth; people who are open to the Holy Spirit; people of all ages and walks of life; people who care for one another and enjoy each other’s company; people who wish to partner with our communities; people who have a desire to make the love of Jesus known.

Sunday Services:

8.45am at St James’: Parish Communion – in contemporary language
Four hymns lead from the organ, a short sermon, robed clergy, and a warm welcome, perhaps what most people remember church being like!

11.00am at St James’: A modern and lively band-lead service
Modern music is at the heart of the worship, and one of its distinctive features, with a music group leading us in songs that range from celebration to thanksgiving and reflection. Children and younger youth (ages 3-14) have their own teaching each week during term time.

(Currently suspended) 6.30pm Evening Worship (1st Sunday every month)
