Sunday 21st September Bishop Richard led our service and Mary Wall, a longstanding member of our congregation was honoured with The Order of St Ethelbert. Thank you all who made Mary's presentation and the bishop's visit special by coming along to church, providing and helping to decorate the church building with amazing flowers and providing cakes which were enjoyed after the service.

For almost eighty years, Mary has been a faithful worshipper at Christ Church, Llangrove, serving as Churchwarden, PCC member, and Deanery Synod representative. Tireless in fundraising both for the church, our community and for those in need, supporting choirs, the Mothers’ Union and bringing joy with her flower arranging and her amazing poems about life in a country village, Mary continues to inspire with warmth, creativity, and steadfast devotion to God and community.
