Last Saturday evening we enjoyed a fabulous concert by the choral group 'Gaudeamus', with a varied and enticing repertoire. Their programme took us through eight centuries, spanning from madrigal and baroque style through to twentieth century Beatles numbers and more. Well done Gaudeamus! It was heartening also to have the church filled with such an appreciative and friendly audience from a varity of neighbouring churches. We are discussing dates for their return, hopefully in the autumn, so do keep a look out for this.
