About Us

The church is situated in the small village of Oldbury on the outskirts of Bridgnorth in Shropshire.  Originally a daughter church of Morville, it became independent after the dissolution of Shrewsbury Abbey.  In 1948 it joined with St Mary Magdalene, Bridgnorth

There has been a church on the site since the 12th century, first recorded in 1138. It is largely the product of a Victorian restoration.

It is a small attractive church with limited kitchen facilities added in 1993, and has off road parking for up to 40 cars.

Oldbury Church is a beautiful place to have your wedding.
