We have three services in the Presteigne Group of Parishes next Sunday 5 October:

9.30 Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer: traditional language) Lingen

11.00 Harvest Thanksgiving Service Presteigne – with the collection going to Presteigne & Knighton Food Bank

6.30 Harvest Festival Communion Discoed

Everyone is very welcome to attend any of these services. If you can't join us in person, you will find the Collect and Gospel Reading for the day elsewhere on this page, plus a reflection on the reading by our rector, Revd Stephen Hollinghurst.

This is also the weekend that Michaelmas is traditionally celebrated at St Michael’s Discoed. There is a concert on the evening of Saturday 4 September at 7.30 pm, to which everyone is also warmly invited. Autumn Leaves is a special seasonal selection of Poetry & Prose, with music performed by Ruth Watson, Michael Tavinor, Stephen Hollinghurst, members of St Andrew’s Church Choir and The St Andrew’s Sisters. There will be interval refreshments and a retiring collection for church funds.
