Today is Maundy Thursday, believed to be the day that our Lord Jesus Christ shared His last supper with His disciples before his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemene. This evening the Presteigne Group of Parishes begins our weekend of services commemorating Christ's crucifixion and death and celebrating his resurrection on Easter morning with a short, simple service of Holy Communion at St Michael's Church, Discoed.
