It's an important day in the Church Calendar, with a great deal of meaning attached to it. We look forward to celebrating it with this special service involving the five denominations represented in our town: Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Society of Friends, and Anglican. Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in Presteigne 18-26 January 2025(we’re different in Presteigne! … extending the week by one day!Two events have been organised:Sunday 19 January 4.00 pm Presteigne Baptist ChurchAn illustrated talk by Michael Tavinor on his recent visit/pilgrimage to Rome, where he met and worshipped with Christians of all denominations and made a pilgrimage to the traditional ‘Seven Pilgrim Churches’ in the Eternal City.
