Turnastone: St Mary Magdalene
Turnastone was one of the smallest parishes in Herefordshire, with a handful of dwellings and mostly farm pasture land. The church building dates from the late 12th/early 13th century with a handsome barrel roof dated about 1500. A guide book and history leaflet is available at the church. From 2019 the parish has merged with Vowchurch, and both church buildings continue in use.

Peterchurch: St Peter
Welcome to St Peter’s our village church. Our parish is a member of the Wye Dore Benefice, which in turn is part of the Abbeydore Deanery in the diocese of Hereford.
During January and February St Peters and the Hub will be closed whilst contractors renovate and upgrade our domestic and temporary servery into a new servery in keeping with the contemporary elements of the building. The new kitchen will have commercial equipment that will provide better facilities for staff, volunteers and users and will, we hope and pray, help us secure some form of sustainability for the future.Whilst the building is closed, we will hold our Sunday services in Vowchurch. Funeral services will take place in one of our other churches with bereaved families being able to choose which church they would prefer. Burials will always be able to take place as usual in the churchyard at St Peters.
