Worfield Church has had a new electric heating systems installed. The old oil fired systems were no longer fit for purpose and in need of replacing. In November, new under the pews system was installed as well as electric panel heaters in the meeting rooms, kitchen and toilet area. Much more targeted heat, efficient, reliable, and easier to operate. The bats in the rafters are sorry we made the change, the ambient temperature is cooler than it was when we warmed the space with radiators. The colder months are a chance to learn how best to manage the heating of this ancient building, and the comfort of all who attend gatherings here.
