Children at Seal Church

CHILDREN AT ST PETER AND ST PAUL

Children are welcome at all our services and activities, and are a valued part of our church community. Some children simply like to sit in the congregation with their parents, and that is fine. Others like to have something to do. Just like adults, children are all different, and we offer various ways for them to get involved.

ON SUNDAY MORNINGS…

We like having children in our worship just as they are! Please bring them along with you, and don't worry about them wandering about if they need to. If you feel an hour long service is too long for them, a handy hint is to come halfway through – at around 10.30, when most of the "sitting and listening" bits of the service have finished - readings, sermon etc. Young children often enjoy and connect with the second half of the service - the music and movement involved in communion, (and the squash and biscuits after the service!) more than the first half.

Children are welcome on any Sunday to make use of the children’s chapel area with you – the area in the North Aisle, which has toys, books and other activities around Christian themes. You are welcome also to use it with them during the week whenever the church is open (normally daily from 9.30 - 5pm or dusk.
