Christ Church Roxeth

Christ Church Roxeth is a diverse community of all ages. We gather and worship together in a range of ways, from the traditional to contemporary and creative.

We are actively engaged in our local area in a variety of ways, including through our charity shop found, strong youth work and a variety of community activities. As part of One Church Harrow we are seeking to make disciples and plant churches across Harrow.

We are currently gathering for worship regularly both online and in our building; with services in a range of styles and formats. All are welcome to join us. See 'Services and Events' for more details.

Check out www.ccrharrow.org and www.facebook.com/ccrharrow to find out more about who we are as a church family.

The parish of Christ Church Roxeth is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of London’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. Find out more at www.ccrharrow.org/safeguarding

An informal, contemporary and creative service in our building at Christ Church, with dedicated groups for children and young people. This service lasts around an hour and includes stories, Bible teaching and space for prayer and worship, including congregational singing. We normally offer Holy Communion on the Third Sunday of each month at this service. Everyone is invited to stay on after the service for refreshments in the church lounge. The service is usually live streamed via facebook and YouTube for those worshipping with us online.

We offer dedicated groups onsite for children and young people:

+First Steps (0-2s) meet in the upstairs lounge for prayer, stories and play. You are welcome to stay with your child(ren) or leave them with our volunteers if they are settled in the group.
+Climbers (aged 3-4) and Explorers (reception to Yr 5) meet in the downstairs hall for worship, prayer, teaching, activities and games.
+Pioneers (Yr 6+) meet in 'the Lab' (the back of the upstairs lounge) for games, discussion and prayer together

More information about our children and youth groups is available at www.ccrharrow.org

Social Distancing
We have a number of measures in place to ensure everyone's safety during the Covid-19 pandemic, including additional ventilation and optional wearing of face coverings. During services, you are welcome to choose either to sit with other households (seating in the central aisles) or remain socially distanced (seating in the side aisles). If you have any questions please speak to one of our volunteers when you arrive at church. More information about socially-distanced church at Christ Church during the coronavirus pandemic are available on our website: www.ccrharrow.org/policies
