In 1999 we asked the year 5 pupils of Moulton School to make some suggestions for a new window marking the Millennium in 2000. Now, those children are all grown up - and may have children of their own! So, for our 150th birthday we are asking the village once more for some ideas for a new window. Moulton Glass have kindly offered to help us realise our dream for a colourful addition to our windows.Any ideas? You can pick up a planning sheet from church!
It was a delight to host staff, parents and children from Moulton Pre-School, to celebrate the children graduating to primary school in September. Seeing the lovely photos demonstrated how far these little ones have come!May God bless you as you start your next chapter!
27th April - a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon....So lovely and sunny that a swarm of bees decided to take up residence in the roofspace above the east window! Thanks to local beekeeper Chris Bowyer, the swarm were guided into a portable hive and taken to an apiary site. It was fascinating to see how quickly they began to construct honeycomb; luckily, Chris managed to remove them before they began laying eggs or producing baby bees.Hopefully, the aperture is now sealed up; as lovely as the bees are, we don't want them in the roof!
