St Stephens has a new vicar

The Reverend Mark Green was licensed by Bishop Keith, the Bishop of Birkenhead in a service where a number of community organisations welcomed Mark to his new role.

Mark has lived in the village for 17 years with his family, and has been involved in a range of community organisations and activities. He was a Parish Councillor, being chair for 2 years; a governor at Moulton School; and is part of Malt'n'Music providing lights for the live shows; and is close to the mystery group known only as The Crows.

He was ordained in 2017, and served his curacy at St Helen's, Northwich

Mark said, "It is such a privilege to be the vicar of St Stephen's in the community that has been so important to me and my family. I want our church to be at the heart of the community, offering a safe space where people can just come and be themselves, always getting a warm welcome."

His first services will be on 17th March 2019 celebrating communion at 10:45 and 6:30.
