In Baptism we are asking to be part of God's family and inviting him to travel with us on life's journey. In Baptising a child we also commit ourselves to helping the child to know about God and his family, the Church. We also make promises on behalf of the child in the hopes that they will come to us to confirm these promises, when they are old enough.
Unsure about making a commitment on your child's behalf? We also offer a service of Blessing for a new baby.
