St John the Evangelist, Highbridge

St John's is the Church of England Church for Highbridge in Somerset.  We want to be a people of courage, sharing God's love across our community.

As a Christian church, we believe that Jesus Christ shows us what God is like, and that we can know his love and transformation in our lives.  But we are here for the whole community to help in moments of celebration, praise, sadness, joy or contemplation.  We have a lovely old Victorian building which we put to creative use for worship, but also for live music, events and exhibitions.  Come and see what we have to offer - you might have your own ideas!

For information about the church, including services, events, baptisms, weddings and funerals, please go to www.stjohnshighbridge.org.uk or contact us using the links here.

We're here for you and will be delighted to meet you.

The parish of Highbridge is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Bath & Wells’ safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
