St Lawrence's Church, Cucklington

Perched on the east side of Blackmore Vale, St Lawrence's Church stands on the main street to the north of Cucklington village centre. The earliest records of the church appear in 1291 with the first Rector recorded in 1317.

Christians meet there regularly to worship and pray and the church building is well loved by the village.

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Benefice Safeguarding Officer (BSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the BSO Mrs Jenny Kimber, email [email protected]; Tel: 01963 33446; 07799 645661 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Ben Goodhind, email: [email protected]; Tel: 01749 588917.
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
