50th Birthday 2026
St Nicholas Church in Emmbrook is proud to celebrate its 50th Birthday in 2026. We're putting on several events through the year.The next event is an Eco Event on the 19th September in association with the Friends of the Emm brook from 10am - 1pm. We will meet in the field opposite Emmbrook Senior School on Emmbrook Road at 10am. We will be working along the Emm Brook in the fields there.
What to bring:
- Sturdy footwear and working gloves are essential
- If you have loppers, pruning saws, or shears, please bring them along!
- We’ll provide additional tools
There will be practical and educational activities to help everyone to know more about the green spaces at the centre of our community. We would love you to join us.
The first event was a Community Showcase on March 21st from 2-4pm, run in association with the Emmbrook Village Hall Committee. This is your chance to come and chat to local groups and people who use the village hall week by week (like us on Sundays 11am).
The second event was a Table Top Games afternoon on June 13th from 3-5pm. We were pleased to welcome people of all ages - from teenagers to some in their 80s. Tea and cake was provided to contribute to the fun. It was great..
Our Birthday weekend is on 5/6th December. Bishop Mary is coming to visit us.
