About Us

Holton is currently in the process of creating the new Bow Brook Benefice - a group of five churches with Henstridge, Templecombe & Abbas, Horsington & South Cheriton and North Cheriton parishes. We are also recruiting a new Priest in Charge.

Our medieval church has electric heating, hearing loop and blue tooth speakers but no mains water. Holton Parochial Church Council has 4 active members, and in addition, rotas of volunteer sidespersons, cleaners and florists for the monthly Sunday Worship service and churchyard maintenance. Please check back for fundraising events at the church. The Village has an annual Sumer Event to raise money for the Village Hall and St Nicholas' Church. North Vale Parish Council (Holton, North Cheriton & Maperton) contributes annually to the cost of cutting grass in the graveyard.
