Visitors to St Mary's, East Chinnock are often amazed by the vibrant colours and appearance of the church's stained glass windows. Behind these  windows is an extraordinary story of a former Prisoner of War who was held in the area during the Second World War. Herr Gunther Anton gave these windows  to the village church as an expression of reconciliation.
