4pm Family Friendly Christingle Service at St Mary's Hardington

A service celebrating Jesus as the light of the world, aimed at young children and raising money for the Children's society (free entry but please bring a donation).
We will provide all the oranges, sticks and sweets etc, and hope to have some singing as we start to get into the Christmas feeling. Children welcome to come dressed as Angels, Shepherds, Wise Men. Animals.
Followed by tea, coffee, soft drinks and cake.
All very welcome.

7pm Carol Service

for 1 hour
St Mary's, East Chinnock

The East Chinnock traditional Christmas Lessons and Carols service. All Welcome. Do come early to be sure of a seat, and please could able-bodied people park further away from the church to leave closer parking for those who need it, thank you.

3pm Crib Service at St Martins Church West Coker

The Rector will lead this family friendly retelling of the Christmas story, especially aimed at young children, and will be looking for volunteers to act out different parts of the story. We will also sing some favourite carols and Christmas songs. If any children want to come already dressed up as Nativity characters they are welcome to!

The East Chinnock village community gathers for their traditional Crib service, bringing the model holy family to the crib with readings and some beautiful carols together. All very welcome.
