St John’s has been awarded a Bronze award from Eco Church, an A Rocha UK project www.ecochurch.arocha.org.uk (A Rocha is a Christian charity working for the protection and restoration of the natural world).Eco Church motivates and resources churches and their members to care for creation, to love our global neighbours and follow God faithfully. To apply for the award, we answered a survey about different aspects of our church life – from worship and teaching, buildings and the land around it, lifestyle as a church and engagement with our community. If you would like to know more or have ideas that would help us to work towards a silver award, please get in touch.
