The Bishop of Bristol is delighted to announce that The Reverend Sam Denyer, currently serving as Vicar of St Cuthbert's Wells and Wookey Hole, has been appointed to be the next Priest in Charge in the Benefice of St Martin's Knowle. We are thankful that Sam has responded to the call to serve in this way and are grateful for all the gifts and experience he will bring to this new chapter of the life of the church. Sam and his family will move to Bristol in the autumn, and the dates of his final service in Wells, as well as his licensing in Bristol will be communicated as soon as they have been finalised.

We will all be very sorry to lose Sam and Paula but will start the process of seeking a new vicar with optimism and prayer.
