The views from the top of the tower are amazing and, on the way up, there's a break to meet some bellringers, find out about the bells and .... have a go!There will also be cream teas and other tasty delights in the church on those afternoons - to give you vital calories for the ascent; as a reward for the effort; or just because you love a cream tea.
Places are limited so booking is advised. Tours of the tower take place at 2.00, 3.00 and 4.00 each Sunday in August (2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th). Please book your place by contacting the parish office [email protected]
Proceeds go towards the church’s ‘Let there be Light’ appeal to install new and sustainable lighting in the church; and to the Bell Fund. Tickets for the tour are £8.00 (adult) and £3.00 (8-16). We cannot take children under the age of eight and everyone under 16 must be accompanied.
