About Us

Church of England welcoming people from all denominations and none.

Locking is near Weston-super-Mare, in the county of Somerset in the South West of England. Our Parish church stands on a hill above a valley by the Mendip Hills and with views towards the nearby coast. Christians have worshiped on the site for over 800 years and there has been a church since around AD 1230.

We welcome visitors and families to our Sunday services and events throughout the week.

10.00 am Family Service on 1st and 3rd Sundays in the month
10.00 am Family Service with Holy Communion on 2nd Sundays
10.00 am Informal cafe style service in Church Centre on 4th Sundays
10.00 am Joint service with St Mary's Hutton on 5th Sunday in the month.

6.00 pm Evening Prayer on 3rd Sunday
6.00 pm Holy Communion on 4th Sunday in the month.

Parade services on Mothering Sunday, Promise Sunday, Harvest Festival and Remembrance Sunday.

Visitors are warmly welcomed and new members are always welcomed into our fellowship.
