Emmanuel Church

We are a friendly, welcoming church in the heart of Weston-super-Mare. We meet every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. to pray, sing and hear God's word. At some services (Holy Communion) those who wish to are invited to share bread and wine as Jesus taught us. Everyone is welcome at all our services. If you're not sure what happens just walk in and take part just as much or as little as you like (and stay for refreshments at the end).

This website is a work in progress. Please bear with us as we develop it. Suggestions always welcome.

                                             Verse For The Christmas Season

“ For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. "

Isaiah 9: 6

Safeguarding

Our parish of Weston-super-Mare: Emmanuel is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages https://www.bathandwells.org.uk/diocese/safeguarding contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our Parish Safeguarding Officer Anne Jones at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
