Safeguarding at South Petherton with the Seavingtons and the Lambrooks

The PCC has approved its own policy for safeguarding children, young people and adults; it is available here. This policy is derived from the Church of England’s policy statement by the House of Bishops: “Promoting a Safer Church: Safeguarding Policy for Children, Young People and Adults”. Our policy explicitly states our commitment to making our churches a place where all people feel welcomed, respected and safe. In doing so it also outlines an organisational structure, training, supervision and joint working with the Diocese through which we will try to make our intentions a reality.
