At present, we have just 12 individuals giving regularly to finance the ministry and mission (clergy costs, services and care for our community) at St Michael's, along with the ongoing maintenance of our Grade I Listed building. This is unsustainable and so, we are looking for new friends to continue the legacy of those who have gone before us.
To keep the spirit of St Michael's alive in this generation, and for generations to come, please consider how you might be called to offer your time, talents and treasure to keep our doors open. Help us to sustain this important part of our village's identity, as a place of worship, fellowship and community service. If we don't use it, and support it, we will lose it.
To offer practical support in the day to day running and administration of our heritage building and to make the most of this wonderful community asset, please visit the 'Get in touch' page and select 'Get Involved' to contact our Churchwarden.
If you can contribute to the £35,000 it costs per year to keep the church open and accessible to all, click on the link to make a one-off, or regular, gift via the Parish Giving Scheme here. If you prefer, you can also set up your gift by calling 0333 002 1271 and quoting the Parish Code 010601509. Alternatively, complete a paper gift form in church.
To discuss making a larger donation, leaving a gift in your will, or to ensure that you are giving in the most tax efficient way, please visit the 'Get in touch' page and select 'Donate to St Michael's' to contact our Treasurer.
