On 11th Oct, we celebrated all that God gives us with our harvest festival.

We welcomed parishioner John Eyers, who has been volunteering at Taunton Foodbank for the past 3 years. John told us about the good work of the Foodbank, not only providing food to those who find themselves in a time of need (up to 6 times per year per family), but also importantly signposts families to agencies who can help them to improve their situation.  Our collection was in aid of the Foodbank, and £278 was raised, a very worthwhile sum.

We were pleased to have Neroche Hand Bell Ringers play for us - including All Creatures of our God and King - see the video in this article. The group recently reformed after disbanding during Covid Lockdowns, and are looking for a few more members so they can play a wider range of bells. No previous experience is needed, and you do not need to read music. Do get in touch with Mary Bell if you are interested in playing with them: [email protected]

The produce donated to decorate the church was gratefully received by Lindley House, the shelter for the homeless in East Reach Taunton.
