George Coles, RIP George’s Funeral Mass will be this Tuesday 29 April at 11.00am, here at Holy Trinity. His body will be received into Holy Trinity at 4pm on Monday 28th, and after at a private cremation on Tuesday, his ashes will be buried in his family’s grave in Plymouth. May he rest in peace. Annual Meetings These will take place next Sunday in the hall after the Parish Mass. The first, the Annual Meeting of Parishioners, is solely to elect Church Wardens. The second, the Annual Parochial Church Meeting will receive reports of committees and HT's activities as well as the financial accounts for 2024. If you would like to become a member of the Church Council (six meetings a year), please speak to Keith Penny, Fr Julian or one of the Churchwardens. Reports and accounts are now available in advance of the meetings at the back of the church. Fr Peter Martin RIP Fr Peter was a curate here 40 years ago under Fr Ian Seward, and then at St Mary's, Bathwick. He had a long ministry in Cannington before his retirement to Minehead, and had been suffering from ill-health for some years. May he rest in peace. Readers Rota We are currently in the process of refreshing our Readers Rota – if you would like to go onto the rota or indeed if you would like to come off – please let the office know. Electoral Roll if you have recently signed a form, please check on the list at the back of the church that your names have been correctly entered. Garden of Remembrance the PCC has asked for permission to extend the area available for ashes. Details can be viewed at the back of the church. Seder Meal Thank you, all who attended and helped at Saturday's (12th) Seder Meal. Also thank you for your financial generosity; the donations exceeded costs by £65. This will be split between two charities: Aid to the Church in Need and Friends of the Holy Land. These provide aid and assistance to the persecuted and disadvantaged in the land where Jesus lived. Aid to the Church has a good website for donations and locally-made crafts. As yet, there are no details for his funeral service, which will be at Holy Trinity, with the interment of his ashes at Plymouth with his parents. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
