Bishop Peter is most grateful for the prayers, cards and good wishes in his illness. The initial chemotherapy is coming to an end and he hopes to be able to return home and in due course and have a bone marrow transplant. Please do continue to pray for him, Jane his wife and their family, and Bishop Ruth in her increased responsibilities.

Help needed! The hall is re-opening for public use, but is subject to strict regulations regarding COVID. After each use (unless there's a 48 hour break in bookings) the hall will need to be cleaned. This involves primarily a wiping-down of all surfaces (table/counter tops and chairs). We urgently need volunteers to do this. This shouldn't take more than half an hour each time, so perhaps there could be a volunteer for each day. PLEASE let Liz Hathway or Fr Julian know if you can help. This is really most important; otherwise we will have to consider hiring a cleaner, which we can't afford.

COVID Precautions Please don't forget to wear masks when attending worship, and take proper precautions regarding sanitising your hands and keeping social distances, especially when receiving Holy Communion.

Lend with Care There have been no further repayments from our entrepreneurs as they take a payment break in face of the Coronavirus which may have devastated their lives and businesses. Please pray for them.

Handmade Fabric Masks Are now available for £5 after the service. Proceeds will go to the Hospice.

Sunday Coffee This week’s Zoom coffee chat will be at 11.30am. Joining details have been sent.

September’s Issue No hard copies of the parish magazine are printed because of COVID, but the magazine is now available online (church website) as well as via email.

‘On duty’ Next Sunday:

Intercessor: Wendy Burge

Readers: John Clarke and Liz Clarke
