Since the English Reformation, the Daily Office in Anglican churches has principally been the two daily services of Morning Prayer (sometimes called Mattins or Matins) and Evening Prayer (usually called Evensong, especially when celebrated chorally). We are far more than a church which just has services on Sundays. There are regular services in both the church and the parish throughout the week, as we try to care for those who are able to come to church, and those who are not. We try to meet the spiritual, sacramental and pastoral needs of the young, the elderly, the fit and the not so fit, the committed and the seeking. As well as formal services, there are also regular informal services, meetings and discussion groups. +
