This service of Remembrance for all those who have been lost in conflict, or whose lives have been shattered by war is being held in one of only a handful of villages in the country which were fortunate inasmuch all those who went to war in the two World wars returned. These are known as the 'Thankful Villages'.

Other parishes from the Benefice who were not so fortunate will take part in the service at St. Margaret's. These are, Ashbrittle, Bathealton, Stawley, and Kittisford

The usual pattern is for a service of Holy Communion or Morning Prayer to be held here on the third Sunday of each month at 9:30am. 

The service on 20th July will start at 10:30am and is a Patronal Communion  service to commemorate St Margaret of Antioch and in aid of St. Margaret's Hospice Care.

Following the service, there will be lunch in the garden at Chitterwell House, TA21 0HF. Everyone welcome. All donations to St Margaret's Hospice.
