About Us

St Augustine’s Church in Huncoat is a Grade II listed Anglican parish church known locally as "The Church in the Fields". Located on Bolton Avenue, it is the only Christian worship centre in the village of Huncoat and holds a unique status as the only Anglican church in Lancashire dedicated to St. Augustine of Hippo.

The 'church in the fields' faces open fields and has a fantastic view over to Longridge and the Ribble Valley on the one side and Pendle Hill and the Hodder Valley on the other.
