GraveTalk is a café – so there is always tea and cake.
It’s not easy to think about your own funeral. Talking about death, dying and funerals raises big questions that we need to face at some point, but it’s hard to talk to family and friends.
The Church of England has been helping people think about these questions for centuries. GraveTalk is a café space, organised by a local church, where people can talk about these big questions. The conversation is helped along by GraveTalk conversation cards – 52 questions covering five key areas.

St Peter's Church Darwen

Welcome to St Peter's Darwen, the church in the centre of town.  Currently we have just one service on Sunday mornings, a Sung Eucharist at 10.00am, but please check with our weekly notice sheet for any possible changes depending on the season.  Our Eucharist is live streamed on our Facebook page, and our Wednesday Eucharist takes place at 10.00am in church.  Everyone is welcome to come and join us for the services.

Junior Church has resumed on Sundays at 10.00am. One Sunday a month at 10.am we have a FAMILY EUCHARIST where the children will lead parts of the service and our music will be by a band (if available) and singers.

Please get in touch for further information.

"The parish of Darwen: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs.
