Hello. Hope you are well.

We meet every Sunday at 10am for Holy Communion in Church and 10am for Sofa Service on Youtube.

With the current Coronavirus restrictions, many of our other groups have been paused. However, during this time we have prayer meetings and socials on Zoom. You are very welcome to come along even if you have never been before. Get in touch to get the sign in details.

Rev Alice Cole is our Curate and we are part of three churches currently in vacancy; our church, St James Over Darwen and St Paul Hoddlesden. You can contact Alice by email ([email protected]).

Come along! You will receive a very warm welcome.

The parish of Lower Darwen: St James is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
