St Aidan's Harvest Thanksgiving

for 1 hour
Bamber Bridge, St Aidan
Station Road Bamber Bridge Preston, PR5 6QL, United Kingdom

A Harvest Eucharist is a joyful service of thanksgiving in which we gather to thank God for the fruits of the earth, the work of human hands, and all the blessings he provides. Through prayer, scripture, and Holy Communion, we celebrate God's faithfulness, give thanks for the abundance of creation, and renew our commitment to sharing his gifts with those in need. All donations of food to the Community Hub Foodbank.

Bamber Bridge, St Aidan

Welcome to St Aidan’s — a church shaped by hope, rooted in prayer, and open to all.

We believe God is at work in Bamber Bridge, renewing lives and strengthening our community with compassion and courage. Whether you or your family are exploring faith, returning after time away, or simply looking for a place to belong, you are warmly invited to journey with us.

Come and discover a church where Christ’s love is lived, shared, and offered freely.

Part of the south transept has been altered to form a children’s crèche area, and a central nave altar is used for most Sunday morning services.

The Church gardens are maintained to a high standard by a volunteer team who enjoy their work. The provide a lovely space to to sit and reflect. There is no graveyard at St Aidan’s, but a small Garden of Remembrance is sited to the south of the nave; the ashes of many loved ones are interred here.

The Church sits in its own grounds, just off Station Road in Bamber Bridge. There is off road parking for 20-30 cars. Within the grounds there are two Halls, which are regularly used during the week by the local Community. There is also a Scout Hut, which is used by a scout group affiliated to St Aidan’s.

The Community Larder, which serves the local community is located in the grounds of St Aidan’s Church. The Community Larder operates two mornings per week from this facility, and the main Hall (now renamed the Community Hub) provides a warm space with refreshments at
