In this service we retrace the path of Christ on his journey to Calvary. As we make this journey, in our minds, and listen to the stories of some of the people who were there on that first Good Friday, let us try and think what it must have been like.

St Ambrose

St Ambrose is an inclusive and broad church embracing a range of worship styles and all ages are catered for and made welcome. The Church was built for the people of Farington and North Leyland and we continue to serve this community. Our website is full of information about the Church and other local groups. The site is updated regularly, at least weekly, and contains an electronic version of our notices. It also contains information on how to make use of the Church (the people not the building) and its facilities (including the buildings). For more go to www.Stambrose.info.

The parish of Leyland: St Ambrose is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. Details can be found on our website at https://www.stambrose.info/safety-and-safeguarding
