Our new family area at the back of church is now open and being used by parents and children during the Sunday morning service, and we're already receiving very positive feedback. The area has been carpeted so that babies and younger children can play safely on the floor; there are toys and books; posters; colouring sheets and crayons; and activity sheets linked to the themes of the service, as well as space for pushchairs or carry-seats. Whilst families with children remain welcome to sit within the main body of the church, as the number of families with young children attending our services continues to grow this area provides greater flexibility to meet their needs.
