Spend a moment of quiet as you select a coloured ribbon and tie to the tree. Each ribbon represents a prayer from someone. and is a wonderful symbol of hope in our community at this time. The tree will be in place till Epiphany, so do visit more than once.
This was the last session before the joint party on the 8th December at The Refectory. We looked forward to Advent, what it means to us and ‘Jesus is the Light of the World’. Great fun was had with glow sticks!!Please click on the link to see more pictures!
There was a bumper attendance, with all stalls doing well. St John’s school choir attended to sing carols, the bottle stall sold out first, the Vicar won ‘Play your cards right’ and all the cheese and onion pie went! Once again, thank you for your support. £1,000 was raised for church and £78.60 was raised for ‘Save the Children’ from the Toy sale.
