They explored hands and how we use them, in particular to help others and to pray. We made a Prayer tent and the children wrote and said their prayers inside the tent – and then enjoyed their pizza supper there too!! All school age youngsters are invited, with a parent or carer, to come and join in an hour of interactive worship and fun followed by a pizza and pop supper! Next meeting Friday 28th March

It was the tradition for Christians to visit their church on Shrove Tuesday to confess their sins and clean their soul, thus being shriven (absolved) before the start of Lent. Shrove Tuesday is the last day of the Christian liturgical season historically known as Carnival or Shrovetide before the penitentional season of Lent and people would indulge in foods they might give up in Lent.Both our parishes enjoyed pancakes and the fun of racing as we tossed them in our pans!For more pictures click the link!
