A Parochial Church Council (PCC) is the executive committee of a Church of England parish and consists of clergy and churchwardens of the parish, together with representatives of the laity.Legally the council is responsible for the financial affairs of the church parish and the maintenance of its assets, such as churches and church halls. It also assists the clergy in the management of church affairs in the parish, and promoting the mission of the church. PCCs (Parochial Church Councils) are crucial bodies leadership of Anglican churches. They can make a significant impact for good on church life. The Parochial Church Council (PCC) has vacancies at St John's church. This is an exciting opportunity to serve God in our church. The PCC meets four times a year, and members discuss the life and mission of our church, making decisions that support us to do what we feel God asks of us.An application form, explaining the process is available – see link! Applications can be received any time up to and before the Annual Meetings (APCM) St Johns: Sunday 11th MayPlease speak to Reverend Lesley if you need more information. If you feel you can serve God in this way, using your gifts and skills, please complete one of the nomination forms and hand in to Reverend Lesley before the meeting – preferably the week before.
