Finding Jesus in Narnia

Finding Jesus in Narnia

Plans and preparations are well underway for a HUGE Narnia event in Church beginning the weekend of November 22nd 2025. As the town switches on the lights to begin the run up to Christmas, we will be sharing the Light of Christ as found in the incredible tales of Narnia by famous Christian writer, C.S Lewis.

This ambitious project will run over two weeks involving our community, church, local schools and visitors from across the Diocese.

Caz Pinder and the artistic team are re-creating Narnia in a temporary studio in the upstairs Parish Rooms; they have used tremendous creative skills and imagination along with some nifty engineering and construction, to create 14 scenes from the story to be displayed in the church.

Our welcome team and event guides will be on hand for visitors into church; a church transformed into the snowy world of Narnia with it’s dark places of sadness and loss and the joyful places of redemption and life changing resurrection.

‘Finding Jesus in Narnia’ is an ambitious project and sharing Jesus in all we do, is always at the centre of our mission and outreach.

Please look out for information over the coming weeks, as this event comes to fruition, and we bring C.S Lewis’ amazing allegorical story of salvation, to all those who visit.

Colne Town Centre has lots to offer including a wide selection of cafe's and shops and of course Boundary Mill is a large local attraction!

Be excited—be very excited!!
