St Bartholomew’s Church has been serving the people of Pendle for almost 900 years and continues to play a valuable role in the community of Colne and Villages. An Anglican Church, we share a united benefice with Holy Trinity Church, Colne.
We have a friendly, inclusive, all-age congregation, seeking to worship and to serve God, through his Son Jesus Christ, in the power of his Holy Spirit.
The church is open every day from 10am until 12 Noon, when visitors can experience the quiet of the ancient church, with its interesting history and architecture, or spend time relaxing with a coffee and talking with other visitors and church members.
We hope that you will find a warm and hospitable welcome when you visit St Bartholomew’s!

"The parish of Colne, St Bartholomew is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
