The day started at St John’s school Higham and this was followed by a Deanery Eucharist at St Bartholmew’s, Colne. A visit to the new Market Hall followed, before Bishop Philip met up with clergy for a lunch stop. In the afternoon Bishop Philip visited St Thomas’ school and then St Thomas’ church to join in with ‘Epic Wednesday’ a new ‘after school’ ministry. The day concluded at North Valley Community Centre, where the new church plant celebrated its first birthday. A cheese and potato pie supper was provided, and a choc/mint Birthday cake.
