Songs of Praise was led by Gil Gilbert. Creation was our theme and we sang some new hymns, followed by homemade courgette soup, crusty bread and ginger sponge and custard, tea or coffee. Our next gathering is 25th February. Why not invite someone new to join us this year. A warm welcome awaits.
It was great to welcome people from both our parishes and also Revd Adrian, the Methodist Minister in Fence. I felt it was a very fruitful time of prayer, sharing and fellowship. Many stayed for lunch. Look out for more prayer events like this again after Easter.
Margaret brought a plaque made from the oak of St Anne’s old organ; Caroline brought frogs and teddy and we saw lovely photographs and shared many happy days. All finished off with tea and cakes courtesy of ‘Betty’s’ Next meeting is February 18th at 1.30pm. All welcome
