As we start this year as Joyful Followers of Jesus and our Diocesan celebrations, it is timely that we pray for Lancashire. Join Reverend Lesley on Saturday 24th January at The Refectory St Anne's for an hour of prayer.

This is part of a 24-7 wave of prayer for Lancashire. We will pray for our Diocese, our communities and our churches in Higham and Fence

Come and enjoy tasty home-cooked food at the Refectory Café on a Saturday. Café open from noon -2pm . Ideal venue if out walking or after shopping. Invite a friend - a lovely place to enjoy a catch up with a friend. For light lunches, cakes and drinks. Come and visit us – all welcome. Why not sit outside in our beautiful Community Garden (dogs welcome). Take always available.

Our regular Sunday Holy Communion service is at 11.00am. Refreshments are served in The Refectory following the service.
Families and young children are welcomed.

It is a monthly service and will be on the fourth Sunday of the month.

It is a service for everyone – hence its name!
It is a service of Holy Communion, but in a less formal way. We pray this will develop to be a popular and accessible service for all.

Come to The Refectory (opposite the Fence Gate Lodge) for 'Coffee and Conversation’ with Reverend Lesley. Join us for a topical chat, looking at the day’s news and finding Jesus in the midst. Danish pastries, crumpets, toasted teacakes available. All welcome.

Next Songs of Praise is Tuesday 27th January 2026 12noon- 2pm.

Come and enjoy singing or listening to hymns with Gil, followed by a home cooked 2 course lunch for £5 at The Refectory.

Pendleside MU meet at The Refectory on the 2nd Tuesday of every month

We look forward to welcoming AbilityNet and BTGroup back to talk to us more about Online safety.

In this session they will advise re downloading Apps, Online GP services and NHS appointments, shopping and banking Online.
