During the winter of 2026, from 4th January to late March we will be holding Sunday services at 9.30am in Trawden Community front room.This will be a warm space with parking outside during the cold winter months. After the service there will be tea, coffee and cake.
A miserable autumn afternoon was brightened up by a lively concert from local, award winning singer Josh Hindle. Now becoming an annual event, a crowd of loyal fans enjoyed Josh performed songs from a wide range of genres, to the delight of the audience.The concert also raised money towards the ongoing maintenance of Your Community Church. Josh now heads off on his Buble by Candlelight Tour complete with orchestra, running up to Christmas.
A busy weekend at the heart of the Garden Festival saw the Church host Pendle Community choir on Saturday afternoon, and South Pennine Singers on Sunday afternoon. Both performances were enjoyed by everyone.Throughout the weekend teas and coffees were served. Children's craft activities were a great hit, especially the rock painting on a theme of Peace. Thanks to the Rev Jayne for organising this.The weekend ended with the Festival committee presenting the prizes. Roll on next year - its always the first full weekend in July
