The Bishop of Burnley has licensed the Rev David Hargreaves as an Associate Priest for our benefice of three churches.
David will now work with the Rev Andy across the three churches of St Marys, St Michaels and Christ Church.
David is well known to us having conducted a number of services before Andy was appointed, and he lives locally in Foulridge. Before retiring he was a Brigadier in the Royal Signals Regiment, so this is quite a change.
For St Marys this means that we will have a priest leading most services although we hope to still have the Music Group once a month. Our regular service time is now 11am on Sundays.
