The older children from our local nursery walked across to church to have a look at the decorations and Christmas trees.
They followed the advent star, found the three wise mens camels on their way to Bethlehem, and then the stable where Jesus was to be born but with an empty manger.
Carols were sung, and the children had clearly been practising their favourites.
