Welcome to St. Mary's. We are part of a united benefice known officially as "Nelson Little Marsden". We form one parish with St. Paul's in Little Marsden and the former St Bede's in Nelson. We are part of one worshipping community.

We meet for worship each Wednesday morning at 10:00am for a service of Holy Eucharist in our chapel found in the Beacon Centre (the former parish centre) on Maurice Street. You are, of course, most welcome to join us.

The parish of Nelson Little Marsden is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Blackburn’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.
